Description:

eTwinning is the Community for schools in Europe. Teachers from all participating countries can register and use the eTwinning online tools (the Portal and the Desktop) to find each other, meet virtually, exchange ideas and practice examples, team up in Groups, learn together in Learning Events and engage in online-based projects.

The Hellenic National Support Service (Hellenic NSS) for eTwinning is the result of the intimate collaboration between the COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE & PRESS “DIOPHANTUS” (CTI) and the Ministry of Education (MoE) -General Secretary Office.

The CTI as project leader is responsible for the coordination, administration, dissemination, technical issues (portal, databases, digitization, translation of educational material etc.) and the teachers’ support (Users Support Service) in pedagogical and technical matters, and is responsible for the final evaluation of the eTwinning action in Greece. The MoE is providing coordination, evaluation, significant assistance in pedagogical matters, dissemination of the eTwinning action and contribution to the creation of educational material. eTwinning is part of Erasmus+, the EU programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport
