Konstantinos Giannopoulos has been graduated from the University of Portsmouth in UK. He has an MSc degree in Communication Networks Planning and Management and a BSc degree in Computer Technology.
On 2000 he was employed as a secretary at TITAN S.A. company. On 2004-2005 he was employed as a Computer Engineer at the CEID department of the University of Patras. On 2005-2006 he performed secretary tasks at the Naval Commandment of Ionian Sea. Since 2006 he was been employed as a Computer Engineer at the Computer Technology Institute "Diophantus" (CTI), at the Greek School Network and Networking Technologies Directorate (GSN-NTS).
He has founded and directed the first Greek Microwave Group. He is an active development member and official ground station operator (licenced radioamateur, sv3ora), of the UPSat satellite project (part of the QB50 project) of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Patras.
