IDEA project is a two-year Erasmus+ project, running from October 2019 to September 2021, aimed to address underachievement in the basic skills of maths, covering maths material of the first 3 grades of primary school. The project will be based on cartoon 3D environments representing selected cultural routes, one in each participating country. In these environments, with the help of different math puzzles the students will be able to interact with the 3D objects solving these puzzles and getting points, rewards and badges.

The students with their teachers will use the platform which will be created for the project, they will visit the physical monuments that are enacted in the game scenarios in the partner countries (during pupils’ exchange events) and feedback will be gathered and applied to the methodology and tools that were initially employed. The final 3D scenarios and a teacher's guide will become publicly available for open use at the end of the project. The project is innovative both in the training methodologies and the ICT tools. Experiential action, achieving successive goals, constructivism and interaction with the 3D environments will be used.
